This Privacy Policy explains how Lingrow Ltd. (“Lingrow”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website [lingrow.co.il / lingrow.com] (the “Site”) and our services, including our web app, mobile app, dashboards, translation/interpretation features, APIs, integrations, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).

• Customer support: messages, attachments, and other info you choose to share with support.

• Billing details (if applicable): billing contact, invoice details, payment status (payment card data is typically processed by our payment provider, not stored by us).

 

B. Information processed when you use the Services

 

Depending on your configuration, the Services may process:

• Audio / voice input (e.g., live speech for translation) and related metadata (language selection, timestamps, session ID).

• Transcripts / translated text output generated during sessions.

• User activity & confirmations (e.g., “message delivered”, “confirmed understanding”, session participation, usage logs).

• Uploaded content (e.g., training materials, briefs, documents) if your organization uploads them for translation/communication.

• Device & technical data: IP address, device type, OS/app version, browser, approximate location (derived from IP), identifiers, crash logs, and performance data.

 

C. Cookies and similar technologies

 

We may use cookies/local storage and similar tools to:

• keep you signed in,

• remember preferences,

• measure performance and improve the Site/Services,

• enhance security and prevent fraud.

3) How we use information (purposes)

5) Customer content and roles (important for B2B)

 

When Lingrow is used by an organization (our “Customer”) to provide translation/communication to its employees/contractors/users:

• The Customer may be the data controller of “Customer Content” (audio, transcripts, translated outputs, documents, participant lists), and

• Lingrow typically acts as a data processor/service provider, processing such data on the Customer’s instructions.

 

If you are an end user using Lingrow through your employer/organization, please direct privacy requests to your organization first, as they control how your data is used in that context.

 

6) AI/translation processing and model training

 

Lingrow processes audio/text to generate translations and related outputs.

 

Default approach (recommended wording):

• We do not use Customer Content (audio, transcripts, translated text, uploaded documents) to train public or general-purpose models without explicit written agreement from the Customer.

• We may use aggregated and/or de-identified usage analytics to improve reliability, performance, and user experience.

 

If you do want an opt-in improvement program: add a short section stating it’s only with Customer opt-in and how to disable it.

 

7) How we share information

 

We may share personal information only as needed:

• Service providers / processors (cloud hosting, databases, logging/monitoring, analytics, customer support tools, payment providers) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations.

• Integrations enabled by you (e.g., SSO, HR systems, LMS, communication tools). When you enable an integration, data may be shared as required for that integration to work.

• Legal and safety (to comply with law, court orders, protect rights, investigate fraud/security incidents).

• Business transfers (merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets), subject to appropriate protections.

 

We do not sell personal information.

 

8) International data transfers

 

We may store/process information in Israel and other countries where our service providers operate (often including the EU/UK/US). When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (e.g., contractual protections and industry-standard measures).

Customer Content retention (sessions, transcripts, translations) can be configured by contract and/or admin settings where available.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, such as access controls, encryption in transit, and logging/monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• correct inaccuracies,

• request deletion,

• object or restrict processing,

• receive a copy (data portability),

• withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).
